I had started this frame a while ago, ok August. See it here. I seem to say "I'm not sure if I'm going to add fabric or not" alot. Then I always do add the fabric. I can't help it. I love the fabric backs. I'm going to try to stop saying that. ANYWAYS... here she is with of course, BURLAP...
She wouldn't be complete without a matching clothespin flower. This burlap flower didn't give me fits like my last one did. I'll be taking this frame to Art In The Alley in December.
When I purchased this particular frame, I don't think that Handy Hunk was too impressed with it... What can I say... I see life with a can of spray paint. :-)
Unfortunately, I can not find the original before picture... So, here's one after I started working on it. It started out as a cork board. I took out the cork panel and cut it to the size I wanted.
Nice hollow area on the right :-) No worries, chicken wire is on its way...
Some black spray paint then add some of my fav black damask fabric... looking good!
How about another of those flowers. Lets see if I can do it wihout burning my fingers...
Here are the Peanuts.... no gallery comments, thanks!
Glue it all together, with only minor burns. :-) Add a button for the center...
Then glued it to a thumb tack. And ta da...
Not bad for a cork board transformation. Have to see what Handy Hunk thinks of it...
Just in. Handy Hunk really liked it. Sorry, about the pics. Took them with my phone.
