I'd been wanting to have a little spot of earth to grow a few things in for a while now. So, this year I did. There's a little corner in the back yard between the driveway and our neighbors fence which I thought would be perfect.
I'm not really sure how well all of this is going to go. So, I didn't really want to invest alot into this. I of course would love to make a beautiful raised bed. But, I figured I better take it slow.
I have a little tiller which I used to till the dirt there and then I got some nice garden soil to add to it. My sweet little Nene decided that I was taking to long to distribute the extra soil so she helped me out. :-) She's such a sweetheart. Needs to work on patience (among other things).
I planted (from bottom to top) Onions, Sweet Peas, and Corn. Of course I had to add a cute little garden thingy too. :-)
Hopefully I don't forget to water it this summer :-) Its already super hot here. We hit the 90's on Saturday :-) I don't know what happened to Spring. We went from Winter to Summer overnight. Oh well, as long as my little garden makes it.

I hope this goes well for you! :)
It would be great to enjoy your own produce.

I almost missed this - I've not been blogging very much !
I hope it all works out for you. I've never tried vegetables but it's so great watching anything grow in your own garden - good luck with it all. x
